Terrace Hill Foundation and Kitchen Collage Present Terrace Hill Cooks: Culinary Arts, Celebrity Chefs, and Kitchen Secrets at Terrace Hill

The Terrace Hill Foundation is pleased to partner with Kitchen Collage to present Terrace Hill Cooks, a kitchen shower and silent auction to support Terrace Hill. The event will take place on May 12 at 6:00 p.m. at Terrace Hill. The silent auction to shower Terrace Hill with kitchen items will occur while guests join chefs in the Terrace Hill kitchen to learn how to prepare special recipes. Chefs include Dominic from Splash, preparing the appetizers; Terrace Hill Chef Sharon VanVerth and Teresa Adams-Tomka, owner of Kitchen Collage, preparing the entree; and Ryan Binney, from Sweet Binney’s, preparing the dessert.

The intent of the event is to provide essential equipment for the main kitchen at Terrace Hill the place where meals are prepared on a regular basis for the First Family and often for visiting dignitaries and business leaders who are deciding whether or not to invest in Iowas economy. The hospitality offered at Terrace Hill plays a vital role in decisions that extend far beyond the dinner table.

Guests at Terrace Hill Cooks will learn kitchen secrets from outstanding professional chefs, bid on kitchen items for Terrace Hill, enjoy a wonderful meal, and leave with a commemorative Terrace Hill apron.

Reservations are limited to 100 food-loving guests at $125 per person with proceeds to benefit the Terrace Hill kitchen. Tables of eight may be reserved for $1,000. Call 515-280-3450 for reservations by May 5.
