Terrace Hill Foundation Presents Hearty Soup Supper & Heartwarming StoryNovember 06, 2007 The Terrace Hill Foundation invites you to a special evening of hearty homemade soup (prepared by the governor’s chef) and a dramatic reading of Truman Capote’s beloved short story, A Christmas Memory. Soup supper will be served in the carriage house at Terrace Hill at 6:00 p.m. on December 4 and December 5.
Following supper, guests will move to the rose-colored drawing room in the mansion and be seated for actor Joseph Leonardi’s dramatic reading of the nostalgic, heartwarming tale of childhood memories. Leonardi is the founder and artistic director of Repertory Theatre of Iowa. The production is directed by John Zickefoose.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Terrace Hill Foundation. Its mission is To provide resources that support the restoration, maintenance and development of Terrace Hill as a premier National Historic Landmark and as an educational and cultural center for current and future generations.
