Enroll in Victorian Day Camp

Terrace Hill is getting ready for the next season of Victorian Day Camp. The camp is for boys and girls entering first through fifth grades in the fall of 2009. Dates and times are June 23, July 13, July 27 and August 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Camp is held on the grounds of Terrace Hill and gives children a one-day glimpse into the life of children in the late 1800s. Campers participate in Victorian games, crafts, Tea and other fun activities while dressed in 1800s attire. Costumes are provided.

The Iowa Society of the Children of the American Revolution provided scholarship funding for Victorian Day Camps. Their check presentation occurred on March 28 at Terrace Hill as part of the groups statewide convention.
