Terrace Hill Wins Three Addy Awards

2003

On February 15, the 2002-2003 Addy Awards the Oscars of the advertising profession recognized the marketing materials of Terrace Hill with awards in three categories.

Judges awarded Terrace Hills 2300 Grand campaign brochure a Gold Addy in the category of Public Service. The brochure was written by Jacqueline Devine and designed by Jason Ploog of The Integer Group. Their creative time and talent were donated.

Also in the category of Public Service, Terrace Hill was awarded a Silver Addy for its 2300 Grand stationery package. Devine and Ploog were also the creative team on this award-winner, and, again, their time and talent were donated.

In the category of Visual and Audio Elements of Advertising, the Terrace Hill Waltz musical score won the Silver Addy. Here, the music, which was composed by W.H. Lehman for Terrace Hill in the 19th century, was recorded at Keith Browns Crystal Sound Studio. The three-minute waltz was played by Des Moines music teacher Mike Walag and was produced by Joe Hayes of The Integer Group. Walag donated his performance. The Integer Group donated Hayes time and talent, as well as the package design for the music CD, created by Ploog.
