Outside Terrace Hill

You are about to enter one of the finest examples of Victorian era architecture in the United States. The style of architecture is called Second Empire.

Restoration of this building is ongoing; there is always a project or two taking place. So, watch your step.

Furnishings and decorations in Terrace Hill are not limited to the Allen or Hubbell period. There is only one item in the home that has been documented as having belonged to B. F. Allen, the original owner. There are many items in Terrace Hill that belonged to the Hubbells.

Furnishings and decorations represent styles and colors favored during the period from the end of the Civil War until the early 1900s.
